MiraCosta Volleyball Extends Win Streak to Eight
On Friday the MiraCosta women's volleyball team won in three games extending their streak to eight games.

On Friday the MiraCosta women's volleyball team won in three games extending their streak to eight games. The Spartans swept the Mt. San Jacinto College 3-0 with final scores of 25-16, 25-24, 25-18. MiraCosta was led by Hayley Huntsman with 38 assists and five kills. The team averaged 17 kills per set and got strong contributions from sophomores Violeti Faleumu (14 kills and 10 digs), Reilly Bosworth (14 kills and a .650 attack proficiency) and Claire Kinder (eight kills and 10 digs.) In the back row Jazleigh Ortiz had 11 digs and Angela Docena had eight.
With the win the Spartans improve to 15-6 and will play at home next week on both Wednesday and Friday at 6pm.
