Tim Anderson
Title: Assistant Coach

Tim Anderson enters his first season as an assistant coach for the MiraCosta College men's basketball team.  He joins the Spartan family after spending the previous season as head boys varsity coach at Highland High School.

In his seven seasons as the head coach the Bulldogs compiled a 134-59 overall record, which included five Golden League Championships, two CIF semifinal appearances, and a state playoff appearance in 2019, the first in school history.  Prior to becoming a head varsity coach, Anderson spent three seasons as the head junior varsity coach and assistant varisty coach.

A Southern California native, Anderson played at Highland High School in Palmdale, breaking several three point shooting records in his career.  After Highland he played collegiately at Mt. San Antonio College.

Anderson earned his bachelors degree in Kinesiology from California Baptist Univeristy in 2017, and his Master degree from California Baptist University in Kinesiology in 2018.
