Daniel Fishel, DO, CAQSM

Primary Care Sports Medicine

Dr. Daniel Fishel is a board-certified physician specializing in primary care sports medicine. He is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals achieve optimal performance and recover from injuries with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.

After growing up in small-town Illinois and playing football for Millikin University, Dr. Fishel earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Hemet, California. Further honing his expertise in sports medicine, he pursued a fellowship in Temecula, California, where he gained extensive experience treating athletes at all levels, including professional and Olympic competitors, high school athletes, and recreational individuals of all ages.

Currently, Dr. Fishel practices at United Medical Doctors, serving patients in Encinitas and Temecula. He has a particular passion for point-of-care diagnostic ultrasound for the musculoskeletal system and specializes in performing ultrasound-guided injections in his clinic. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved with several local high school and college programs, volunteering his time to provide expert care to student-athletes.

Passionate about keeping his patients active, Dr. Fishel is committed to helping individuals of all ages return to the activities they love—whether on the field, court, or in everyday life.
